Generally, I really like to help others in the forum, but there are too many people who need help. Therefore, when I enter a section, I will see a large number of help posts, but I will only glance at the titles of many posts and simply ignore them.
These posts generally do not meet the basic requirements for posts in the top-sticked post of this section "
Essential Read for Forum Newcomers, Basic Code of Conduct for Everyone (Click to Visit)". Especially, I am particularly disgusted with posts whose titles have no substantial content.
I also remind those who need help here: please first write a good title for your post and further describe your problem. This is the most basic respect for those who want to help you. Otherwise, you will only be ignored, and more and more people will ignore you.
Now I will repost this basic code of conduct transferred from the bootable CD area of Wuyou Forum. I hope those who need help will study it carefully (especially the article "The Wisdom of Asking Questions"):
1. We know that you come here to solve various problems you encounter when making bootable CDs. There are also many experts here who are willing to help you solve problems and give you guidance. But we can't teach you step by step how to do it. We will show you a way, and then you have to work hard and make efforts by yourself. Those who only know to be fed and dressed without doing anything by themselves please don't speak here, because no one is willing to pay attention to you, such a lazy person.
2. Before asking a question...
1. First, figure out what problem you encounter. If you don't even know what problem you encounter, then no one can help you.
2. Second, read through the main contents of all top-sticked posts in this forum first, especially the contents related to your problem should be studied in detail (this is the hard work and effort you have to make before asking a question). Then you should also do more practice and try to digest all basic concepts, knowledge and skills first. Without relevant basic knowledge, even if others tell you the answer, you may not understand it. If you are really in a hurry to seek help and don't have time to study the top-sticked posts one by one, then you should also roughly browse the essence contents in the top-sticked posts. Maybe there is the answer you want in it. If there is really no answer, then please directly jump to part 1 of "3. Asking Questions": Be sure to write a good title for your help post.
3. Basically, if you have read through the contents of all top-sticked posts, then 99% of the problems have been solved. If your problem still doesn't know how to solve, then please first read the post "
The Wisdom of Asking Questions (Click to Read)" carefully (must read it from the beginning to the end carefully), and then see what work you need to do to ask a question under the guidance of this post.
4. In the process of reading the essence post, if you think the content of this post is really good, then the only thing you can do is to study hard. Don't add a sentence like "Support" or "Top" at the end of the post to express your excitement, because this will put some old posts back to the front of the forum (this is very annoying for most people). However, if you are sure that you find an error in the original post, then you can post your opinion at the end of the original post (except for download posts. If the download link in the post is invalid, please find another way). We always hope that our essence posts are getting more and more perfect.
5. This forum is not a software download forum. Therefore, in principle, no software download is provided. If you want to find the download link of a certain software, it is suggested that you first check whether there is the download link of the relevant software in the top-sticked posts (or check the contents on the FTP server provided freely by the forum friends). If you don't find the software you want (or the download link has been invalid), it is suggested that you first use the search engine (I recommend using Google) to search. If you still can't find it, then post in the forum to ask for it (be sure to abide by the relevant regulations below when posting).
3. Asking Questions
1. Write a good title for your help post. Briefly describe the problem you encounter in the title. Let the experts know what problem you encounter roughly when they see the title of your post. For titles with no substantial content, most of the experts here will directly ignore them and will be extremely disgusted with you, because they know you are a complete lusers. In addition, some people may be eager to solve their problems, so they can't wait to show an extremely urgent mood in the title. Actually, this is meaningless. There is an old saying: Haste makes waste.
The most unsuccessful titles:
Help (What exactly is the help about?)
Dear experts, come and have a look (Experts are not idle every day. Why should they come in?)
Moderator, come in, I have a question to ask (Is the moderator set up for you alone?)
Please help me everyone (It's no use even if you beg. No one will pay attention to you if you don't write a good title)
Help me (Same as above)
I'm almost dying of anxiety, who can help me (Same as above)
Kneel down and beg xxx (I hate the words like "kneel down and beg" in the title most. You are an upright person. Even if you are not promising, don't bring shame to your ancestors)
Dear great guys, I have a question to ask... (Also no one will pay attention to it)
Is there anyone who can help me! Thanks!! (Don't waste our time, okay?)
Ask for help on a simple problem (Since it's so simple, is there a need to ask?)
Ask for help on Ghost problem (There are hundreds and thousands of Ghost problems. What aspect of the problem is it exactly?)
If you think your post is not well written, you can always use the "Edit" button at the bottom left of the post content to modify your post. In this forum, I have never seen many people modify their posts. Is it because they don't know how?
2. In the content of the post, describe the problem you encounter, your operating environment and the work you have done according to the guidance of "The Wisdom of Asking Questions". Where you want others to help you, don't count on others to teach you step by step (I believe many people are willing to do so when they start to help others, but they will certainly not do so all the time), because we will all deeply understand the truth that it's better to teach a man to fish than to give him fish.
3. Don't expect to have someone answer you immediately after you ask a question, because others answering your question is voluntary, without any reward. And we are all very busy. We also have a lot of work to do and a lot of more interesting things to learn. If you are not satisfied with such an inefficient way to solve problems, then you can spend money to hire technical support!
4. If someone points out the way to solve the problem for you, please try hard and feed back the result in time. If someone answers off the point, don't complain, and don't speak rudely. After all,人家wants to help you. Even if not, at least人家has ever paid attention to your problem.
5. Don't post about the same question repeatedly. If your post is pushed to the back by new posts and doesn't attract enough people's attention, you can mention your post to the front by replying to the original post yourself.
4. After the Problem is Solved
1. If your problem is really solved, please briefly describe the root cause of the problem and the solution, and thank all the people who helped you.
2. If your problem is not perfectly solved, please don't complain. After all, we are all human beings, not gods. We will continue to pay attention to your problem.
5. To All Experts and Those Who Want to Help Others
1. If you want to help a newbie, please try to give easy-to-understand explanations and guidance. After all, he is a newbie, and we have all been newbies. Provide more detailed information and materials (even software) to them as much as possible, so that we can help people thoroughly and see the Buddha to the west.
2. If you think he is really too green and you are powerless, then please maintain a little tolerance and patience. At least you can keep silent.
3. Please learn well the language and characters passed down by our ancestors. The history of Chinese civilization has lasted for thousands of years. Don't let this treasure of mankind be ruined in our generation. This one is specially for those who have knowledge but can't describe it well in language. From another angle, you are also a loser.
6. Rights and Obligations of Moderators
1. Moderators have the obligation to answer various questions raised by everyone when time and conditions permit. However, we all have our own work, and the management of the section is also voluntary (at least I have not received any material reward). So it can't be guaranteed to answer everyone's questions.
2. Moderators have the right to modify, transfer, lock and delete posts in the section. But for the sake of fairness, we try not to delete posts (except for repeated posts). But we will lock some posts that do not meet the regulations, and the reason for locking will be noted.
3. If the moderator replies to you that you are lusers, it means that there is a ready-made answer to your problem, and you have violated the regulations of this basic code of conduct. This is not scolding you, but a kind reminder and urging for you, hoping that you will be more diligent. At least you should abide by the regulations of this basic code of conduct. Replying to you is responsible for you. The short reply is to save time. We are all very busy. We should try to use time on meaningful things.
