，VIM的精髓就在于高效的，只用基础键位的全键盘操作，俺用gVim也是从来不用鼠标的，呵呵。
VIM的命令确实又多又复杂，user guide就超过1000页，reference manual页数还要多。但是通常只要灵活会一些基本命令就可以用的很强大了。一旦完全掌握，用起来是无比爽，呵呵。
BTW：VI好像是唯一一个能几乎跑在任何平台上，同时在远程Telnet/SSH下全功能操作的编辑器了。

The commands in VIM are indeed numerous and complex. The user guide is over 1000 pages, and the reference manual has even more pages. But usually, as long as you are flexible and master some basic commands, you can use it very powerfully. Once you fully master it, using it is extremely enjoyable, heh.
BTW: VI seems to be the only editor that can run on almost any platform and operate fully functionally under remote Telnet/SSH.
