I installed DOS71 this afternoon. At the C drive root directory I typed WIN and pressed Enter, but it couldn't enter the 98 system, and instead the screen went black! Also, when I open the GHOST cloning program it restarts instead!! Why?

There are conditions for entering 98 by typing WIN at the prompt: generally the prompt needs to be the DOS that comes with 98. It's possible the GHOST version is incompatible with your WINDOWS, causing an error, and the system is originally set to restart on error. To change the restart-on-error setting, go into "Startup and Recovery" and cancel restart on error. But when you run GHOST again it may turn into a blue screen warning prompt, and then you can prescribe the right remedy.

dyns1975： Please make sure that when installing DOS, when the system prompts whether to automatically set the Win9x path, you chose "Yes". Otherwise, first enter the path where Win98 is located, and then enter the WIN command. Also, after entering the WIN command, a black screen is normal; this is how WIN9x looks while it is starting up. Wait a little while and you will be able to enter the WIN9x graphical interface.
