Of course! For example, the SHUTDOWN command in "MS-DOS 7.10 Complete Installation Edition".

You can directly power off under DOS without needing any special shutdown commands. To restart, press Ctrl+Alt+Del. If you need to move the computer, you can use a special head lock program.

Nowadays, new - type hard drives no longer need head - locking programs. The hard drive automatically locks the head at the moment before the system shuts down, and no manual management is required. As for shutting down under DOS, as long as it is in the command line state, you can shut down the machine at any time, and there is no need for a special shutdown program to shut down. If you need to automatically shut down when exiting a program after running it, please find relevant programming materials on the network to implement it.

It seems that in XP, you can use the shutdown command, but I don't know about other systems. Sorry!

Although I don't know what commands there are, but the great experts before have already given them, both for 98 and XP! Thanks!

It doesn't work. SHUTDOWN doesn't work in XP. But EXIT can be used to exit.

In Windows XP, using `shutdown -s -t 0` can indeed shut down the computer!!!
