In XP's CMD I used the DIR/A：S command to display system files, but the sizes of the two files MSDOS.SYS and IO.SYS are both 0.
According to the computer boot process, these two files are not allowed to be missing. What's going on? |

Under the XP system, these two files are no longer system boot files. As for the appearance of zero-byte files, they are produced after system optimization software for the WINDOWS 9X platform or other system management software has been run.

Thank you! I have another question: in the auto batch file autoexec.bat, how can I view its contents? And how can I add some of my own runnable programs or commands to this file? |

Please use the EDIT.COM file to edit AUTOEXEC.BAT.

How many bytes is your AUTOEXEC.BAT file? If you can't see anything, the file may be empty, that is, the file length is zero bytes. Take a look.
