My laptop's sound card uses an ESS chip. Can it be driven under DOS? If so, how can it be done?
What exactly should the format/commands be?
Thanks

DOS stands for freedom, openness and progress. Let us work hard, learn from the openness and GNU spirit of FreeDOS and Linux, and together build and grow a free GNU GPL world!

Kinglion, I downloaded your driver and also used its SETUP to install it, wrote the files into CONFIG.SYS and AUTOEXEC.BAT, and also set the environment variables, but it still can't make any sound. When entering DOS it says it can't find the
sound card. Really frustrated..........
Could you please show me the way!!!!!!
