I heard from a friend that you can learn DOS knowledge here, so I came in to have a look. But I'm a newbie myself, and I don't know where to start. I'd appreciate it if anyone willing could help me, so that I can quickly learn what I want to learn here.

Download a set of DOS first. Pick some external commands that you can actually use. Then start using them..
