When you buy a computer, don't they usually give you manuals? I remember one of them explains the BIOS in detail. Not sure about brand-name machines. I mean assembled PCs.

Experts, I'm a beginner. Two days ago I installed Norton Internet Security, but afterward once I entered XP I couldn't do anything. Does anyone know how to get into DOS and remove it, and how to solve this problem? Sorry to trouble everyone.

First try going into Safe Mode and see if you can uninstall it. If your XP can't even get into Safe Mode, then I'm afraid you'll have to reinstall the system. Just my personal opinion. If I'm wrong, please correct me.
