Are you on 98? Or XP? The DOS window of 98? Or the cmd of XP?

(Joke: Is it sneaking into DOS in the dark? Sneak into the village quietly... )

I only know how to enter DOS in Windows 98:
There is an option in the shutdown and restart;
Press the F8 key when booting, and a boot menu will appear for you to choose. Choose the line containing "COMMAND", and then you will enter;
Or use a boot disk to boot / boot with Windows 98 CD is also okay.

There are many such posts before, you can find them.

In Windows 98, you can enter the DOS interface by typing "command" in the Run dialog box! Is that correct! There's no need to restart the computer, which is so troublesome.

If it's a new computer that hasn't had an operating system installed yet, and the system disk doesn't provide a way to enter DOS, then how should one enter?

This question I'll answer for you. You can install DOS 7.x version on the new computer. And if the new computer has no partitions, you also need to make partition preparations. You can download the DOS 7.x version from the internet. Then the remaining task is that you should learn some simple DOS commands well. Wish you success~

In versions above 2000, just type cmd in the Run. For others, type command in the Run.

The latest book I collected in the market is "MS-DOS 6.22 Chinese Version Best Album", published by Posts and Telecommunications Press.

For versions above 2000, just type cmd in the Run. For others, type command in the Run. Haha, fortunately, I'm also learning this. Just don't know where to buy books. Thanks to the brother above!
