kikichi, you can set the BIOS to boot from the CD-ROM, then put in the 98 CD and boot the machine, enter DOS to install, but don't install it in the same partition as XP.

There is no DOS in XP, and you can't return to DOS (pure DOS); you have to use a DOS boot disk—floppy or CD.

Boot up, press F8, insert the 98 CD, choose 2, (boot from CD), then choose 1, run disk check, when it's done type exit to leave it, from then on it's in Chinese, continue the installation

That DOS inside XP isn't real DOS, it's just a command prompt.
