I just saw this in a book. The author said that using a boot disk made under XP to run GHOST is faster than using one from 98 or ME, supposedly because it loads fewer files. I don't know whether everyone agrees with that. Has anyone actually tried it?

Depends on which boot disk you mean. The boot disks that come with WinXP are four floppy disks, used to repair WinXP, and they can't run any DOS programs.
