Can anyone teach me??
When entering pure DOS, how do you use the partitioning command?
What is the command?
After entering the partitioning interface, what are the next steps?
I hope you can teach me...
Explain it... the whole partitioning process?
Please~~~ all you DOS experts~~ THANKYOU

Run FDISK. Choosing Y creates FAT32 format, otherwise it's FAT16. Then 1 is create partition, 2 is set active partition, 3 is delete partition, 4 is view partition, (that's roughly how it is). The main ones are 1 and 3. After entering 1, they are respectively 1: create primary partition, 2: create extended partition, 3: create logical drive. After entering 3, they are 1: delete primary partition, 2: delete extended partition, 3 delete logical drive. When deleting partitions, you should do it in the order 3-2-1, while creating partitions should be done in the order 1-2-3. ^_^, that's about all I know, ^_^, hope you can understand it

After entering 3, then entering 1: delete primary partition, after pressing Enter, there will be a line saying “Enter Volume Label………………………?( )” What should I enter in the parentheses?

The following is just my personal opinion, only for fellow enthusiasts' reference.
Nowadays everyone's hard drives are quite large, so you can install a multi-boot partitioning program to enable booting multiple systems.
Personally I recommend Smart FDISK. It's completely in Chinese and very easy to use.
I used it to partition an 80g drive into six drives: c.d.e.f.g.h, among which c.g.h. (3 primary boot partitions) can each independently boot the system installed on them.
And these three drives change depending on the choice made at startup.
You choose at boot, very practical.

You should enter the volume label in the parentheses. If there is no volume label, then don't enter anything, just press Enter directly.
