I want to ask something.
Under DOS, how do you create a file with the extension txt? And write data into it?
If anyone knows, I hope you can tell me. Many thanks!

In DOS, type edit, and you'll enter the editing interface. Enter the content there, press Alt+f, press the arrow key down, choose save, and give it a filename, then that's it!

You can choose any text file editing software to create a file with the TXT extension and enter content into it. Just as the poster above said, creating a TXT file and entering content is not difficult. If you do not have any editing software, you can even use the DOS internal command COPY to do it. A specific example is as follows: (suppose you want to create the file A.TXT)
At the command prompt, type: COPY CON A.TXT
Enter the content you want to input: ...........
Press the F6 key or CTRL + Z key to save the file A.TXT to disk.

If there is anything inappropriate, please correct me!
