What's the difference between format and format /q? If I want to recover data after formatting, which one is easier~

/q means quick format; without it, it's a normal format, and during the process it will check whether the disk is good or bad, so it's slower!
For hard disks, neither one actually clears the data, so the recovery method is the same/ |
