One step you mentioned for installing DOS under win2k is sys c：but there is no such command in win2k?

Installing DOS has nothing to do with Win2000 permissions.

Then why is it that when I use the srcboot tool it says it can't read a file, but it works under win98? What's going on?

is a DOS 7.1 command. You're the one who got it wrong, man. |
