When I use EDIT to edit a file, if I use the arrow keys to move to the previous line, it selects the previous line.
I don't know how to make it only move the cursor without selecting it.
Can one of you guys help me? Thanks in advance.

Looks like there's probably something wrong with the Shift key on your keyboard. Check that first.

I can't be sure whether the Shift key is broken either. My keyboard is pretty lousy to begin with.
