I’m already a middle-aged person, and at the same time just an ordinary person who taught himself computer knowledge. I have neither advanced academic qualifications nor a good foundation in English. Every day I simply quietly stare at the punctuation marks on the computer screen, and only after a long time did I begin to operate it cautiously. Of course, in the process I ran into quite a few problems and setbacks, yet every time I solve a fault I get a strong sense of achievement from succeeding. I wonder whether everyone feels the same. Maybe this is one bit of my experience in learning computer knowledge: “start learning from solving real problems.”

Good idea, good suggestion. But could you give a rough scope?

Thanks for the moderator’s attention
My suggestions are as follows:
1. How is it best to start learning DOS? I think everyone’s path will be different, because their knowledge structures are different. The moderator could raise a topic: “Where is the shortcut for starting to learn DOS?”
2. Small programs under DOS (the really small kind): one person could provide the source program, and it must be a tested program. Then other forum members could add a few small ingredients to change some aspects of the program. It would be best to indicate the variable conditions and ranges in the prompts.
Thanks~~~~
