My computer is rather old. I had installed a cracked version of Restore Wizard before. Today I attached this hard disk to another machine and used pqmagic7.0 to repartition and format it, then transferred DOS 7.0 onto it. When booting from this hard disk, I found that after startup self-check, when it reaches verifying dmi pool data, it just stops there, with the cursor flashing nonstop. It simply cannot get past it. What is going on, and what should I do?
Also, when I restored another machine's clone onto this machine: a: the clone from the original machine when it did not have Restore Wizard can boot normally and enter window, but when installing Restore Wizard it says a similar version is already installed, and if I want to install it I must uninstall it first. But there is already no Restore Wizard on the hard disk, while the original system had no problem at all when installing Restore Wizard. This is very strange, and I just can't figure it out. b: if after repartitioning and formatting the hard disk, I restore a clone system that has Restore Wizard, it also stops at verifying dmi pool data ... and cannot continue.
