After installing my 8738 sound card under DOS there is still no sound. In qv it is recognized as no sound card, but the microphone can be used. What should I do?

Have you set your BLASTER variable value correctly? For example SET BLASTER=A220 I7 D1 H7 P330 T6 If it is not correct, QV will display “No sound card”.

Then try that CDP software; it is also in “Media Software”. If the sound card is installed properly, it will automatically detect it and produce sound.

My motherboard is an EPoX 815, with an integrated sound card, I installed viaudio, and loaded viaudio.com But when playing with QV it still says "no sound card found" CDP also won’t work because DOS4GW.COM can’t be loaded, What should I do? I’m currently using DOS7.10
