I only recently found out that DOS has an MSD command. But I couldn't find this command in the DOS environment of Win98, and there is no explanation of this command in an MS-DOS manual either. Which version of DOS does this command belong to?

Anyway, the MSD command is included in the full MS-DOS 7.10 edition. There is a download for “MS-DOS 7.10 full installation edition” on the forum.

The msd command was used in the DOS era to inspect machine hardware and system software.
Actually, it was not all that useful at the time, because there were other more powerful software tools such as PCTOOLS.
