All my partitions are FAT32. I can't get it installed using the hard disk installation method under DOS. When it asks you to enter the path, I just can't proceed. Is it not compatible with FAT32? Then what format does it have to be installed on? Urgent....

It should be installable. What DOS supports is the FAT format.
I downloaded DOS to drive C (fat32) and it can install, but on drive F (ntfs) it can't install. DOS doesn't support ntfs, so it can't find the original DOS files. Try it again |

DOS itself supports FAT12/16/32, so it has nothing to do with FAT32 at all. The key is that when you extract it to the hard disk for installation and it prompts you to enter the correct path, you did not enter it correctly, so it cannot continue. Just enter the correct extraction path.
