Hello, two experts! I downloaded a LOADDSKF to extract 01.img and 01.iso.
When writing to hard disk D:, it says it cannot write; when writing to A:, it says the file is incompatible.
What is the difference between IMG and ISO, and what software can write them to the hard disk?
Is the above problem because the version of LOADDSKF is too old? Because this site can't continue the download of this software. I found it somewhere else.

IMG and ISO are two different formats, and IMG format itself also has several kinds that are not compatible with each other. The most common is the HD-COPY format, which can be unpacked with software such as LOADDSKF and UNDISK; ISO files are CD image files, and some ways to work with them under DOS can be found in this forum.
