I downloaded a boot disk and found that I don't recognize any of the software in it, and I don't know what they do. Where can I find documentation for the commonly used software nowadays? For example, DREADY.COM INIFILE.COM FINDRAMD.EXE SHARE.COM WRITEXT.EXE ZENO.EXE WBAT.COM and so on. Also, where can I find instructions on how to use this software? The DOS commands at least let you use /? to check, but these don't show any help. What should I do?

Why does nobody look at my posts or reply to them? Is it because it's too simple? But I really can't find where the usage instructions are.

On Wengier's boot disk download page there are explanations for this software. If the floppy disk you downloaded is Wengier's, there should be a readme.txt in it.
