If you use MSDOS, then if the hard disk gets locked by a hard disk logical lock, there will be no way around it. I suggest using PC-DOS as the kernel.

Didn't I say before that the corrected MS-DOS 7.10 system files can effectively deal with "logical locks"?

Even if I don't use MS-DOS, I still wouldn't use PC-DOS. I'd rather use the better and more practical ROM-DOS 7.10 or even FreeDOS; none of them are afraid of so-called "logical locks".

No! The super 7.1 that I downloaded, the one completed on 10/12, has no effect at all against logical locks. It has no preventive effect whatsoever.

To effectively prevent logical locks, you should use the following MS-DOS 7.10 boot disk (I don't think you've even tried it at all), not the one you used above.
