The most powerful GUI under DOS should be the Windows 98 GUI, then the 95 GUI, and the 3.1/3.2 GUI, as well as the X-Window GUI, I guess... But as for the best GUI...

So there is X-Window under DOS too. Is it the same kind of X-server, X-client architecture as under Linux?
