When entering Pwin3.2 under pure msdos7.1,
it shows " CPU error: incorrect opcode, killing process..." and then exits back to the command line. Question for all the experts, what does this mean, and how can I fix it? Thanks. PS: (io.sys has already been patched for win32) |

Yours isn't pure DOS...
CPU error: incorrect opcode, killing process seems to be a message from Killer.exe |

Are you running it under VPC? DOS running under VPC isn't pure. Please run the MS-DOS 7.1+Pwin3.2 boot disk in real mode.

No, I'm running it under pure DOS, that's what's really strange. It worked before, but after I reinstalled once, it stopped working.

Did you add some programs to CONFIG.SYS or AUTOEXEC.BAT that shouldn't be there? Or could some files in PWin3.2 be damaged?
