It's a hidden file. Click “View” — “Folder Options” — “Show all files” (under WIN98).

In 2k and XP, just open Explorer or My Computer, choose Tools ---> Folder Options, then turn on the “Show all files” option. It's basically about the same as what post #4 said.
Usually the BOOT.INI file is in the root directory of drive C:. |
