For example, like what wengier said above, the first step is SYS a: c:, to transfer the DOS system files to drive C. If there’s no floppy drive,
can I manually copy some files over? Also, my C drive is in naft format, so I had no choice but to use magic to split out a FAT32 I: drive. Would those methods still work too? And finally, is the SYS command entered at the command prompt ? |

If you want something simple, just use the “MS-DOS 7.10 full installation edition” to install automatically. There’s a download on the forum.

Actually, the floppy drive can boot and emulate one from the CD, right?
