I want to install a three-system setup of DOS, Windows 2000, and Linux. I already have Windows 2000 installed. Is it possible to install DOS and Linux without affecting this system? If there's really no other way, reinstalling is OK too. I have a lot of materials stored on my hard drive that I collected with great effort, and I really can't bear to lose them. I also want to install some applications under DOS, such as FoxBase, C, etc. Please, experts, teach me a bit—I need to use it urgently. My hard drive is 40G, divided into 5 partitions: 5G, 5G, 10G, 15G, and 5G respectively.

If you want to install Linux, it will definitely need its own separate partition. I suggest giving the second 5G partition to Linux, and then creating a swap partition and an ext partition there (is that what it's called?). You'll need some partitioning knowledge. Installing DOS alongside 2000 doesn't require damaging the existing system; please refer to that article by wengier.

Using SYSTEM COMMANDER seems to be easier.
