I downloaded Motto Hairu from New DOS Era, and wanted to use it so I could use my 16MB ONLYDISK under MS-DOS, but after loading the following in CONFIG.SYS:
DEVICE=C:\DOS\USBASPI.SYS
DEVICE=C:\DOS\DI1000DD.SYS
it showed:
DIVIDE OVERFLOW
and then hung. I couldn't even do a warm reboot, so I had to press the RESET button on the machine.
So I kept looking online, and finally managed to find drivers that support USB flash drives.
Sorry, I forgot the download URL. I only remember that the archive contained a lot of drivers for USB devices, but I only used two of them: APSIDISK.SYS, USBAPSI2.SYS, loaded like this:
DEVICE=C:\DOS\USBAPSI2.SYS
DEVICE=C:\DOS\APSIDISK.SYS
This way they loaded successfully.
After rebooting, the system reported that it had found a new logical drive.
After testing it, I found everything worked normally.
I also want to thank New DOS Era here for helping me regain confidence in DOS.
