I boot into DOS mode with a Win98 boot disk
Run some programs, such as Diskman, NTFSDOS, etc.
Always get the prompt "Program too big to fit in memory"

MEMORY management has been loaded in CONFIG.SYS
DEVICE=HIMEM.SYS /TESTMEM:OFF
DEVICE=EMM386.EXE RAM
Of course, the HIMEM.SYS and EMM386.EXE files already exist

I tried deleting the latter line or changing it to DEVICE=EMM386.EXE NOEMS, and the same error occurs
Why is this???

Run `mem /c /p` to see how much memory is left.

It is also not ruled out that a virus has been contracted
Somehow somewhere I've got to choose.

I'm so angry. Now I know the reason. It turns out that it was caused by UltraISO. During the process of making the CD, many program files were damaged by it.

I also encountered the prompt "Program too big to fit in memory". For example, after I booted into DOS and ran the Tianhui Chinese system, the system gave such a prompt. Later, I had to use the "STEP BY STEP" mode when booting to remove some drivers to be able to run.
By the way, I would like to ask all the experts, is there any software to defragment memory in DOS? Or any software to delete some drivers at the command line?
