Moderator, I’d like to ask: under a WIN98 system, what is the difference when operating on the hard disk after booting with a pure DOS boot disk versus a WIN98 boot disk?

What exactly does this “Win98 boot disk” refer to? Does it mean any DOS boot disk that can boot the Win98 GUI? Or a boot disk that enters the Win98 GUI graphical interface directly after startup? Or does it refer only to the original Windows 98 OEM Disk released by Microsoft? Please explain it a bit more clearly, thanks!
