If you're using WIN98, when the blue-sky-and-white-cloud screen appears during startup, quickly press CTRL or F8, then choose COMMAND PROMPT ONLY from the menu to enter it; that is MS-DOS 7.1.

Where is 6.21? It should be 6.22, right? Seems like we've answered this kind of question countless times already. 6.22 does not support long filenames, does not support FAT32, and does not support hard drives over 2G. But 7.1 supports all of that.
At the same time, I'd ask everyone not to bring up this kind of question again. There are already piles of questions and answers like this on the forum. We're tired too. Especially WENGIER.

There really is an MS-DOS 6.21 version, but very few people use it.
