In MS-DOS 7.10, there is a statement in AUTOEXEC.BAT:
EXTRACT /E /L %RAMDRIVE%\SYSTEM DOSET.CAB>NUL Could everyone please explain the meanings of the EXTRACT parameters /E and /L, and also the meaning of >NUL. Many thanks! |

Extract, replacing “*.*”, that is, extract all files /L dir Specifies the location of the extracted files; the default is the current directory >nul Redirects to the null device, so the extraction process is not displayed on the screen |
