I currently have two old hard drives that can't be repaired, both with the same problem. Please, experts, help me!!
The situation is as follows:
A Quantum 7.5G hard drive. At boot, the BIOS can detect the hard drive correctly, but fdisk can't partition it.
Using disk man and NDD (under DOS), it still can't be partitioned or repaired, and they report an error on cylinder 2. I suspect it's physically damaged. I wonder what advice the experts here may have? Please tell me one by one.
