I have 2 IBM 20GB hard drives! Right now when I connect the hard drives to the machine, they can't be detected!

How do I fix them?

See whether the BIOS detects them. If it does, use DM/PQ or something...
If it doesn't, send them back to the manufacturer....

Try them one by one, the BIOS should be able to detect them...
If it really doesn't work, the only choice is to send them in for repair...

If the BIOS doesn't detect them, then maybe some chip got burned out,

I have several hard drives that are like this too

No choice but to take them to the computer hospital for a look
As long as it's not a platter problem, an ordinary repair shop can generally fix it

Is the hard drive itself working properly? If it is, then before connecting it to the system, did you set the jumpers? If not, it might fail to boot or fail to be detected.
