China DOS Union

I've run into a problem and would like to ask the experts for advice: my computer has WINME installed, but I have an old tax bureau software package that must run under DOS. Right now, every time I use this software, I boot into DOS with a WIN98 boot disk, but errors happen often (not enough memory, or it can't print: that is, after giving the print command, nothing happens). I've also tried the WINME real-mode DOS patch, but for some reason it never worked. I also can't just format drive C and reinstall ·#￥·#·#· it's really painful. So I want to ask how I can install a DOS system on top of the existing WINME setup. The kind where you can choose from a menu when booting. If any software is needed, please tell me where I can get it.

The problem you're raising has nothing to do with DOS itself.

Go directly to the provider of that tax software, especially about the printing problem. Outsiders can't solve it. Only they themselves can.

And as far as I know, that software simply requires the system to run cleanly under WIN98. Get rid of WINME.
