I have WIN2000 installed. How can I add DOS on top of that? First let me make one thing clear: I don't have a floppy drive

Please make sure to read the article Wengier wrote, “How to Boot Pure DOS Under WinNT/2K/XP ”, it's right here in this tutorial section.
As for not having a floppy drive, you can solve that by booting from CD. |

It's already very specific... If you still don't understand, then at least explain what exactly it is that you don't understand...

Boss, in the article Wengier wrote, “How to Boot Pure DOS Under WinNT/2K/XP ,” there are a lot of theories I don't understand, but I still want to install it. Please tell me the specific steps. Just talk about the technique and not the theory. Many thanks.

The steps in there are already very clear... I still recommend that you first read some other posts...
If you really must use DOS, you can boot with a boot disk... |

If your c: (active partition) is in NTFS format, then there's no hope for you. Your only option is to install VPC5.0, and then you can use DOS under 2000. If it's in FAT32 format, you can boot from a floppy disk, then use sys a: c: to transfer the system. After that's done, just do an install repair on 2000 and it can become a dual boot setup.

Oh right, you can also use multi-boot software such as syscommand to do it.
