I even forgot the syntax for formatting drive C. I tried it myself, c:> format/s but it didn't work. Was the current directory wrong? Please write out the exact one for me, and I'll just follow it. Thanks!

Sheesh, boot the computer with a boot disk that has the format.com file on it (one made by Win98, or one downloaded from this forum will do), then type format c:/s and press Enter.
Also, when posting, please pay attention to the title first!!!! |
