I'm a DOS newbie, can you help me with a difficult problem?
There's a folder named "New Folder". How can I copy the contents inside it to e:\ under DOS?
Please help me, the machine in my office is broken, and I need to use it this afternoon.
Thank you!!!

First load a Chinese-language platform, then just use copy 新建文件夹\*.* e:\

The above is one way. You can also use a file manager: load Tianhui's small Chinese character support system, then you can move things. PCTools works too. It all fits on one floppy disk.

Question for the experts:
Last night I followed the above instructions, lh key py wb lx, and typing twabc did let me input Chinese, but TWAY /load. Tianhui reported a command error. Although I could see the Chinese DOS interface, I still couldn't add a Chinese input method. Does this mean that even with Tianhui I still need to load PDOS95, and under an XP startup this command can't be used? What should I do?

If there is no Chinese character support platform, you can use dir>1.bat in the parent directory of “New Folder”, then edit 1.bat, find “New Folder” (it will be garbled, with a dir marker), remove all the extra other text, type cd and a space before the garbled text to indicate entering that directory, save 1.bat, then run 1.bat and see whether you have already entered that garbled directory for “New Folder”. As for what to do next with copy, you can figure that out yourself.
