Initial values of internal registers in a COM file
1. CS, ES, PS, and SS all point to the PSP+0H field. 2. IP points to the PSP+100H field. 3. SP points to FFFFH; if the available memory is not 64K, it points to "current available memory byte count - 2" 4. The word at the top of the stack contains 0000H 5. CX contains the length of the COM file. |
