What does this /is mean set CDROM=FOO23 FINDCD.EXE if "%CDROM%"=="FOO23" goto NOCDROM path=a:\;%CDROM%\ Is this cdrom=FOO23 arbitrary Can it be removed |

/is means not scanning the disk during installation, F0023 is arbitrary, but it has to correspond to the line below... If you don't use it, then it can't detect whether the CDROM driver has been loaded.
