I want to put a CAB archive on my boot disk, with some small software tools inside it, then after booting it can automatically create a RAM disk and automatically extract the files in the CAB archive to the RAM disk. My questions are:

1. What files do I need to add to the boot disk to achieve this?
2. How should I modify the autoexec.bat and config.sys files?

I'm a newbie who can only follow examples step by step, so please help me with a detailed answer

Infinite thanks!

Make a Win98 boot disk; that's a pretty good example.

TO Seawind:
The simplest way: make a Win98 boot disk. It already has the RAM disk and some software you want. If you need to add or remove some of the software in it, you only need to extract that CAB file and repack it.

TO xiangyuan:
RAM is a virtual disk.
CAB is a compression format created by Microsoft. You can use software like WINCAB and CABman2003 to extract and compress it.
