I deleted a file under c:\windows\system32, and as a result it won't boot now,,
Right now I'm booting under DOS with a floppy disk,, So this is what I'm thinking,, will it work, all you gods and immortals??? cd c:\ cd recycled dir copy recycled is hidden use attrib -h -s to get in |

Do you have a system disc?
Set the BIOS to boot from the CD-ROM drive, maybe you can reinstall the system. That way c:\windows\system32 will be rewritten, and it should more or less solve the problem. If you haven't emptied the Recycle Bin, I think your method will work. |
