Does anyone know how to find a file or folder under DOS?????

What command do I use??????

You can use c:\dir /s x to find all x files under drive C, and wildcards work too, for example: *.bmp will find all bmp images; I just started learning DOS, so this little bit is all I know. If there's an expert, please explain it in more detail.
