DOS stands for freedom, openness and progress. Let us work hard, learn from the openness and GNU spirit of FreeDOS and Linux, and together build and grow a free GNU GPL world!

It really is a good article! This is quite important for the future development of DOS! If this method can successfully port the entire X-Window platform to DOS, then... how wonderful the DOS world would become...
But under DOS in DJGPP/bash, whether I type dir or ls (other commands don't seem to have any problem), why do I always get the error “bash: ls: command not found”?

The general idea seems to be using djgpp to compile the source code of programs from Linux.
It is said that djgpp is gcc under DOS, so the chances of success should be fairly high.
