BAT, I want to learn it too, but unfortunately all you “experts” have no time, you're all busy making boot disks!
Or busy developing DOS, working on DOS. After I learn BAT, I'll develop the “KISS” operating
system! When the time comes, “KISS” won't be like WINDOWS and depend on DOS, to the point that I
have to learn DOS here. I've been learning for months, and I still only have half-baked understanding of BAT!
Support “KISS”, everyone must buy the genuine version!

Develop an operating system with batch files? Good idea, but it isn't real...

Why don't you use QBX? M$'s QBX 7.1, that's a good basic complier. You can make a dos-shell with it.
Somehow somewhere I've got to choose.
No matter if it is win or lose.
