Use scanreg /restore to restore to an earlier backup (all of it). If you previously exported a *.reg file, use regedit *.reg to import it.

Restore the registry: C:\WINDOWS>SCANREG.EXE/RESTORE or C:\WINDOWS>COMMAND>SCANREG/RESTORE lists five boot-day backups for the user to choose from
