For example: can it search for the two strings cde and ghi in abc.txt at the same time? If so, what should the command format be?

Also, why can't it be executed like this in a batch file?
for %%a in (c: d: e  do dir %%a\ >>%ramdrive%\abc.txt | find "bytes free" %ramdrive%\abc.txtBut it has to be split up like below before it can run. Why? for %%a in (c: d: e do dir %%a\ >>%ramdrive%\abc.txtfind "bytes free" %ramdrive%\abc.txt |

Question 1: FIND "cde" abc.txt | FIND "ghi" Question 2: FOR is not a single command, so it does not support command-line pipe operations, so anything after | is ignored Question 3: FIND "free" < e:\abc.txt |
