China DOS Union

What is a text editor? Where can I find one? How do I open it? Can it be opened under pure DOS?
Also, I made a Ghost backup. The program is located at E/Ghost, and the image file is saved at E/Ghost. Then there is a BF file in the C drive directory. How do I restore it under DOS? What is the command?

The first one is fairly simple, so I'll take it.
In Windows it's Notepad, under Start\Programs\Accessories\Notepad. Or search for wordpad and open it.
In DOS, type EDIT > and you can edit it. Or just type EDIT> and a window will appear, then you can edit it. When you're done, use the mouse to click FILE at the upper left of the window, press SAVE to save, then press EXIT to quit.

Under pure DOS, there is no mouse, press CTRL+ALT+DEL to enter FILE at the upper left of the window (inside are SAVE and EXIT)

Another correction
The above wordpad (WordPad) should be notepad (Notepad). It can also be opened by typing notepad in Start\Run.

I was wrong, it should be the Alt key. After pressing it, an edit window will appear. Try it, it's correct!
